Shadow Ridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylani Palmer, who picked up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Another passer making a difference was Aubree Davis, who threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Shadow Ridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Ruby Engert was the leader with two sacks. Those two sacks gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Palo Verde earned a 22-15 win over Southeast Career Tech on Wednesday.
Shadow Ridge better keep an eye on Samantha Manzo. She was instrumental in Palo Verde's win, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.
Shadow Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.9 points per game. As for Palo Verde, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.
