Soccer Recap: Granada's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Despite a strong season so far, Granada has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livermore Cowboys. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Matadors came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 391st).

Granada's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6-1. As for Livermore, the win got them back to even at 8-8-4.

As of now, neither Granada nor Livermore have any future games scheduled.
