Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Murphysboro Red Devils. That's two games in a row now that Marion have lost by exactly two goals.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Murphysboro, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Marion will square off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murphysboro, they will take on Freeburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
