Alexander is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Edinburg 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Alexander took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-6, 25-13.

Alexander's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brianna Espinoza led the charge by getting 13 digs and four aces. Meanwhile, Austin faced Harlan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Maroons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks.
