Grayson is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Newton is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Grayson will host Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayson has given up an average of 51.8 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grayson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering South Gwinnett just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rams came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Comets are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, Newton was able to grind out a solid victory over Archer on Friday, taking the game 58-50.

Grayson's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 19-2. As for Newton, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
