Baseball Recap: Muskogee Comes Up Short

If Muskogee was riding high fresh off their 20-10 takedown of Antlers on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roughers fell 12-9 to the Durant Lions on Saturday. The Roughers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Rock Gilliam made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Muskogee's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Durant, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Coming up, Muskogee will host Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Durant, they will head out on the road to face off against Will Rogers College at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
