Baseball Recap: North East Carolina Prep Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for North East Carolina Prep's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Hobgood Charter Raiders on Thursday. The loss leaves the Husky still looking for their first win of the season.

North East Carolina Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Peele, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Gavyn Morris also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

North East Carolina Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, North East Carolina Prep will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Hobgood Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hobgood Charter, they are taking a road trip to take on Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
