Basketball Recap: Groesbeck Comes Up Short

Groesbeck lost against Buffalo back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Groesbeck Goats opened the new year with a less-than-successful 47-39 defeat to the Buffalo Bison. The Goats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Groesbeck's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Groesbeck will take on Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo, they will face off against Mexia at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th.
