Football Recap: Brayden Russell and Wyatt Streeter Pace Lawton Defense + How To Watch

After flying high against Galesburg-Augusta last Friday, Lawton came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell 18-14 to the Schoolcraft Eagles on Friday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Lawton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brayden Russell and Wyatt Streeter.

Schoolcraft's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Howard, who rushed for 113 yards.

Lawton's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Schoolcraft, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
