Fairview barely beat Monarch the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Coyotes a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. Fairview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Monarch with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucy Ochs (2), June Trask, and Abbie Laird.

Fairview's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. As for Monarch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season.
