While Pineville's victory against McCreary Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mountain Lions had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Mountain Lions, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Pineville's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Addison Slone, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another was Rayanna Maidon, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Pineville's win bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for McCreary Central, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12.
