Plainfield's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Woodstock Academy Centaurs by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Abigail Lawton and Gillian Brix scored both of Plainfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Woodstock Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-9-3.

Looking ahead, Plainfield will take on St. Bernard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodstock Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Norwich Free Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
