Volleyball Recap: Florence Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Florence challenged Ellsworth on Saturday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Florence found their leader in sophomore Kelsi Chrisman, who had seven kills and six digs. Chrisman has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last eight times she's played. Quinn Cassidy was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Ellsworth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Coming up, Florence will welcome Phelps at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellsworth, they will take on Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
