Basketball Recap: Middle Tennessee Christian Takes a Loss

Middle Tennessee Christian was the 48-39 winner over Columbia Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars lost 50-28 to the Columbia Academy Bulldogs on Friday. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Middle Tennessee Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Columbia Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middle Tennessee Christian will welcome The Webb School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Academy, they will host University School of Nashville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
