Softball Recap: Curtis Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Puyallup, Curtis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bellarmine Prep Lions with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Curtis' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bellarmine Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Curtis will challenge Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Curtis' pitchers better be ready for this one: Rogers has averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Bellarmine Prep, they will square off against Silas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Bellarmine Prep their first taste of in-conference action this season.
