Preview: Southern Fulton Indians vs. Windber Ramblers
The Southern Fulton Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Windber Ramblers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Southern Fulton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Claysburg-Kimmel by a score of 38-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Southern Fulton has scored all season.
Despite their loss, Southern Fulton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ethan Mellott, who scored ten points along with five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The contest was Mellott's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Stotler, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Windber lost to Indiana on the road by a decisive 61-43 margin on Wednesday.
Southern Fulton's record is now 3-2. As for Windber, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
