Daejeon Elder gave up the fewest hits he has since back in February on Thursday. He made a splash, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Northside last Wednesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Elder has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Elder's effort led Harris County over Northside and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
