Volleyball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

If Crestview was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Plymouth on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the St. Paul Flyers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cougars haven't been shut out since back in September.

St. Paul can attribute much of their success to Taegen Mansfield Bush, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Mansfield Bush has posted over her last four matches.

Crestview moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for St. Paul, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Crestview will square off against Western Reserve at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Old Fort on the 8th.
