Basketball Recap: Northwest Halifax Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Northwest Halifax, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 75-70 W over the Southeast Halifax Trojans on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-58 back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Southeast Halifax saw an underclassman step up: sophomore O'Tavion Arrington went 9 of 13 en route to 33 points. That was a full 47.1% of Southeast Halifax's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Clinton Mills Jr., who earned 13 points along with five boards and five steals.
