Softball Recap: South Dearborn Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for South Dearborn's offense. They came up short against the Connersville Spartans on Saturday, falling 16-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for South Dearborn and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Connersville, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Dearborn will take on rival Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Connersville is set to face off against their familiar foe Batesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
