Soccer Game Preview: Arrupe Jesuit vs. Atlas Preparatory School

The Arrupe Jesuit Generals will head out on the road to challenge the Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Arrupe Jesuit is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Fort Lupton just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Friday. Neither they nor the Bluedevils could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Arrupe Jesuit happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 17th.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Atlas Preparatory School made sure to put some goals up on the board against St. Mary's on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Pirates. The matchup marked Atlas Preparatory School's most dominant win of the season.

Atlas Preparatory School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. With that draw, Arrupe Jesuit's record moves to 5-4-3.

Arrupe Jesuit took their win against Atlas Preparatory School when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1 score. In that matchup, the Generals amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
