Basketball Recap: Fort Davis Comes Up Short

Fort Davis lost against Balmorhea last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fort Davis Indians took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Balmorhea Bears. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Fort Davis' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Balmorhea, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Fort Davis will square off against Buena Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Balmorhea, they will challenge Grandfalls-Royalty at 8:00 p.m. on February 18th. The timing is sure in Balmorhea's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Grandfalls-Royalty has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
