Baseball Recap: Cleveland Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madelia, Cleveland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Nicollet Raiders get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Clippers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Miles Tomaszewski was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alex Kortuem, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Nicollet, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cleveland is set to face off against their familiar foe Martin County West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nicollet will challenge rival Loyola at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
