Basketball Recap: Lakeshore Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakeshore saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 70-69 to the Pearl River Central Blue Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (68), Lakeshore still had to take the loss.

Lakeshore lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cole Janssen, who posted 11 points and five steals. Janssen is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Conrad Pichon was another key player, putting up 16 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lakeshore fell to 2-1. As for Pearl River Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lakeshore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-30 victory against Franklinton on the 26th. As for Pearl River Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
