Keveon Ruiz had a dynamite game for Medicine Lodge, rushing for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Derrek Randels was another key contributor, picking up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Conway Springs' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Medicine Lodge, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-2.
Conway Springs didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Medicine Lodge in their previous meeting back in September, but they still walked away with a 40-34 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Medicine Lodge's Ruiz, who threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
