Lee had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Brianna Lynch sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Lynch was still locked in as she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Lynch and Lee will take on Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Lynch's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wildcats' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Lynch and the Wildcats surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
