Volleyball Recap: Stagg Takes a Loss

Stagg lost against Sandburg back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chargers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Stagg sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 21-25, 25-21.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Sandburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-18.

Stagg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln-Way Central on the 16th. As for Sandburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Glenbrook South on the 17th.
