Last Tuesday, Parkersburg Catholic narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Ravenswood 50-48.
Meanwhile, Roane County scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Calhoun, posting a 78-32 victory at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Roane County has managed all season.
Among those leading the charge was Hope Mason, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Braylin Bowe, who scored 12 points along with five assists.
Parkersburg Catholic's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Roane County, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
