Shore - South B recap December 3, 2013
Barnegat added to the longest winning streak in Shore - South B this week by beating Pinelands Regional, 35-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Barnegat's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cinjun Erskine threw for 65 and 1 touchdown and Ryan Ulrich had 27 yards receiving. On the ground Paul Wickwire contributed 165 yards. Kyle Morris helped Barnegat's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 26 yards.
Wickwire was a passing and rushing force as Rob Davis' team beat the Wildcats.
Erskine put up the best numbers through the air as the Bengals topped Pinelands Regional.
Barnegat's Erskine and Manny Bowen led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Erskine has thrown for 1,061 yards this season, while Bowen has 23 catches for 460 yards. Amani Richardson from Manchester Township leads the league in rushing with 953 yards.
In 149 carries Richardson has accumulated 953 yard this year.
Brian Wilkinson's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,322 from 12,507. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 35-14 victory over the Wildcats last week.
