Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Liberty was not quite Perris's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Liberty have lost by just one goal.

Liberty has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Perris, with the win, they broke their eight-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Hemet on the 23rd. As for Perris, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against JW North on the 23rd.
