The Rose Bud Ramblers are taking a road trip to challenge the Beebe Badgers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rose Bud is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Rose Bud and Mt. Vernon-Enola, and Rose Bud kept the tradition alive. Rose Bud never let Mt. Vernon-Enola get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Ramblers have won by exactly ten runs.

Jay Bell made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Tanner Bell and Athan Hensley did most of the damage at the plate: Tanner scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Hensley scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Caden Calhoun, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Rose Bud always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Vernon-Enola only posted an OBP of .261.

Meanwhile, Beebe put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past Malvern 5-3.

Rose Bud's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Beebe, their record now sits at 3-0.
