It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Perham had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Frazee Hornets. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Perham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 29-27, 25-6, 25-19.

Perham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophie Nelson, who had 17 digs.
