Bentworth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-15 win. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mighty Mikes, too.
Bentworth was led to victory by Ryan Moessner and Ben Hays. Moessner almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards, while Hays almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Those 22 points gave Moessner a new career-high.
