Basketball Recap: GlenOak Comes Up Short

GlenOak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-41 to the Hoover Vikings. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 52-51.

GlenOak now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Hoover, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

GlenOak will welcome Jackson at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Jackson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully GlenOak likes a good challenge. As for Hoover, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
