Woodlawn-B.R. and East Iberville are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodlawn-B.R. will be strutting in after a win while East Iberville will be coming in after a loss.

Woodlawn-B.R. is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Madison Prep Academy 11-2 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with Madison Prep Academy: they've now won six in a row.

Khameron Netherey looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cade Saurage was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases. That run marked the first that he's scored this season. Noah Arroyo was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

East Iberville might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to Family Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s record is now 2-4. As for East Iberville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Woodlawn-B.R. came up short against East Iberville in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 7-4. Can Woodlawn-B.R. avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
