Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Applewood Christian). They blew past the Heritage Academy Warrior 82-56 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for Applewood Christian: when they faced off against Heritage Academy back in January, they had to take a 62-60 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage Academy lost, don't look at Kylen Larson. Despite the final result, he posted 28 points and six boards. With that strong performance, Larson is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Nick Kespohl was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Applewood Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Heritage Academy, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Applewood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Liberty Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
