Basketball Game Preview: Lindale Eagles vs. Honey Grove Warriors

The Lindale Eagles will take on the Honey Grove Warriors in a tournament on Thursday. Lindale will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

While Lindale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Bonham, posting a 62-15 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Warriors are ranked 1348th).

Meanwhile, Honey Grove hadn't done well against Rivercrest recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors snuck past the Rebels with a 53-48 win.

Honey Grove now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lindale, their record is now 10-1.
