Volleyball Recap: Bangor Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from September Harris and Kennedy Hamilton

Bangor suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Thursday. They came up short against the Wonewoc-Center Wolves, falling 3-0. The Cardinals' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

While Bangor ultimately came up short, they really made Wonewoc-Center work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 25-16.

Kennedy Hamilton and September Harris certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hamilton had eight digs, while Harris had five assists and three aces.

Wonewoc-Center found their leader in freshman Faith Daugs, who had 24 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Daugs. Avery Miller also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Wonewoc-Center, their record now sits at 8-5.

Bangor has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Cashton on the 23rd. As for Wonewoc-Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Necedah on the 23rd.
