Basketball Game Preview: Blaine Bengals vs. Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons

The Blaine Bengals will head out on the road to take on the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blaine knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Robbinsdale Armstrong likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Blaine ended up a good deal behind Andover and lost 78-64. The defeat continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Robbinsdale Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 82-53 defeat at the hands of Totino-Grace. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Eagles are ranked 51st).

Blaine's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Blaine ended up a good deal behind Robbinsdale Armstrong when the teams last played back in January of 2024, losing 52-37. Can Blaine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
