Volleyball Recap: Christ Chapel Academy Comes Up Short

Christ Chapel Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Evergreen Christian Eagles. Christ Chapel Academy was not able to make up for their defeat to Evergreen Christian from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 24-26, 25-11, 25-21.

Aydan Gaskins paced Christ Chapel Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gaskins got some help from Jessica Wilbon and her ten assists. Darrianna Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Christ Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Evergreen Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Christ Chapel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Ad Fontes Academy on the 17th. As for Evergreen Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 17th.
