Basketball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour suffered their biggest loss since January 23, 2024 on Friday. They lost 71-46 to the West De Pere Phantoms. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phantoms this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-70 back in December of 2024.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for West De Pere, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-73 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 10th. As for West De Pere, they will head out on the road to face off against Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in West De Pere's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
