Soccer Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bullock County Hornets, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 two weeks ago.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bullock County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Geneva will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dale County at 7:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Bullock County, they will challenge Pike County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bullock County surely won't give up without a fight.
