Softball Recap: Bernalillo Spartans vs. Albuquerque Academy Chargers

In what's become a running theme this season, Bernalillo gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Albuquerque Academy Chargers a 10-0 shutout. Give Bernalillo's pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Autumn Arriola was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Arriola has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
