Football Recap: Locust Valley Takes a Loss

Locust Valley lost against Seaford back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Vikings are ranked 51st).

Locust Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Seaford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Locust Valley and Seaford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Falcons see the field they'll take on Island Trees on October 4. As for Seaford, their break will end when they face East Rockaway on October 4.
