Kimberly faced Waukesha West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Papermakers came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 2-0. The Papermakers haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Alex Krause paced Kimberly's offense, picking up 12 kills. Krause got some help from Blake Zielinski and his 21 assists. Krause was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Waukesha West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kimberly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cedarburg on the 30th. As for Waukesha West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kettle Moraine on the 30th.
