Highland had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Haxtun lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lilly Lemesany, who had 21 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsley Koberstein, who had 17 digs and two aces.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Haxtun, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Sanford on the 8th. Haxtun does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
