Volleyball Recap: Malcolm Takes a Loss

Malcolm was the 2-1 winner over Gering when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Clippers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Payton Dolliver paced Malcolm's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dolliver got some help from Allie Blair and her 33 assists.

Malcolm's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Gering, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Malcolm has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Wahoo on the 30th. As for Gering, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ogallala on the 30th.
