Recap: Lewisburg Patriots vs. DeSoto Central Jaguars
Even though The Lewisburg Patriots have not done well against the DeSoto Central Jaguars recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Lewisburg came out on top against DeSoto Central by a score of 14-7. For Lewisburg, this counts as revenge for the 35-14 defeat DeSoto Central walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Lewisburg's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for DeSoto Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 5-6.
Lewisburg will look to defend their home field on November 10th against Madison Central at 7:00 p.m. Madison Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lewisburg in Mississippi (Madison Central is ranked eighth, while Lewisburg is ranked 42nd). As for DeSoto Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Tupelo at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Tupelo is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
