Marist waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pelham Panthers.

Marist's offense was headlined by Katie Elder and Molly Hayes, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Kipers and her eight assists. Sawyer Straley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pelham, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Marist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Starkville on the 23rd. As for Pelham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Buckhorn on the 23rd.
