Softball Recap: Salem Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Salem won the last time they faced Keene and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Blackbirds with a sharp 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Salem's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Keene, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Salem will head out to square off against Portsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keene, they will take on Brattleboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
